The Cleveland Browns have created a talented quarterback room, and Deshaun Watson is delighted with the chemistry among the quarterbacks.

The Browns added seasoned depth this offseason after starting five different quarterbacks last year. Former No. 1 pick Jameis Winston was signed in March, and the team also added Tyler Huntley, who formerly played for the Baltimore Ravens. Dorian Thompson-Robinson will also return for the second season.

According to Watson, the quarterbacks have a mix of starting experience and have worked well together this offseason.

“There are no egos in there,” Watson stated during his “QB Unplugged” presentation on June 7. “We all want to watch each other eat and reach the top. “That is the key.”

If everything goes as planned, Watson will start 17 games next season, and the Browns will not have to rely heavily on their newly formed depth. Cleveland’s $230 million quarterback is still healing from shoulder surgery, but he is anticipated to be ready for Week 1.

“My shoulder has been feeling quite wonderful. “Load management, one day at a time, following the rules,” Watson explained. “This is the plan, and this is what we must continue to do in order to achieve our goals. Being able to be on the field with the guys and toss the football with them is absolutely important. We can adjust the timing. There are no constraints on that.”
