GREAT NEWS: The Buccaneers are bringing him back

It appears that the Bucs will wear throwbacks again this season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers couldn’t just wear their throwback outfits for one season, could they?

The Bucs wore their “creamsicle” uniforms for the first time since 2012 last year in 2023, and they lost 20-6 to the Detroit Lions. Despite the setback, Tampa Bay is unlikely to put them out for a year only to hide them again, and new evidence suggests that they will be worn again in 2024.

Bucky Irving, the new Buccaneers running back, has been shooting a lot of photos lately, notably for the NFL rookie premiere in Los Angeles. He’s now back in Tampa, and he posted a snapshot on Instagram stories of himself taking team photos in Tampa Bay’s creamsicle outfits.

It’s quite doubtful that the team would do that if they weren’t planning on wearing them again in 2024, given that these are most likely promotional shoots for the game in question (whenever that is). There are some Bucs supporters who believe the jersey is cursed or reflects a losing period, but it appears like Tampa Bay is not considering this for 2024.
