The OU Police Department has not yet responded to Sooners on SI’s request for arrest records.

“We are aware of the situation, and it is being handled internally,” an athletics department representative told Sooners via SI.

The former 4-star prospect appeared in eight games as a true freshman, recording eight tackles and one pass breakup. Vickers, despite his youth, received valuable playing time for Brent Venables’ defense in the second half of a closely contested Bedlam game in Stillwater.

Vickers came to Oklahoma from Munroe High School in Quincy, Florida.

This is a developing story, which will be updated as more information becomes available.
