Browns at Bengals in Week 18: Cleveland is resting several of their starting players
Browns have four questionable, six out; Bengals have two questionable and one doubtful.

There isn’t much on the line for the Cleveland Browns when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. Not surprisingly, they’ve already secured the five-seed in the AFC playoffs, thus several of their starters will be rested for this Week 18 encounter.

The Bengals can end the season with a winning record if they defeat the Browns, even though they haven’t won a division game yet. Even though they would receive a better draft pick in the event of a defeat, we can be sure that the squad won’t be concerned about that during a game. Their goal is to triumph.

Cleveland’s injury report suggests that they intend to rest most of their starters in order to prepare for the playoffs and to win this game without suffering any injuries. A few important Bengals players might also be absent from the contest.

The Browns’ injury report mirrors a CVS receipt simply because they’re playing it safe and hoping to avoid injuries as the playoffs start next week. Six players are out for this game, including Cooper, Garrett, Hopkins, and Newsome. If there was anything at stake this week, one would have to think these players might have toughed it out but there’s no need for them to risk injury.

It’s unfortunate that Higgins might not play this week and that this could be his last week as a Bengal. In the spring, he will be a free agent and ought to sign a big contract.
