Hamilton — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed defensive lineman Benoit Marion and defensive back Siriman Bagayogo, two national players, on Wednesday.
Marion, 28, played one game this season with the Toronto Argonauts, recording one special teams tackle. The six-foot-five, 250-pound Montreal native has appeared in 32 games over four CFL seasons with the Argonauts (2021-24), amassing 19 total tackles, one quarterback sack, and two forced fumbles. He was originally drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round, 25th overall, in the 2020 CFL Draft.
Bagayogo, 26, played in 14 regular-season games last year with the BC Lions, recording nine total tackles, including six defensive tackles. The six-foot-three, 195-pound native of Bois-Des-Filion, Quebec, also participated in two playoff games with the Lions, making two special teams tackles. He was originally drafted by the Lions in the second round, 14th overall, of the 2023 CFL Draft, after playing for the University of Guelph.

The Edmonton Elks have announced the addition of Canadian fullback Bruno Lagace to their practice roster, marking his return to the team. Lagace, who hails from Quebec, had previously been released by the Elks on June 1. Despite this, he had the opportunity to participate in two preseason matchups, playing against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the BC Lions.
Originally selected by the Edmonton Elks in the seventh round of the 2023 CFL Draft, Lagace’s journey has seen him achieve significant milestones. Following his draft, he returned to play for the Montreal Carabins for the 2023 season. During his time with the Carabins, Lagace played a pivotal role in their triumph at the 58th Vanier Cup, solidifying his reputation as a key player. His performance throughout the season earned him the distinction of being named a RSEQ Defensive All-Star.
