Tkachuk, Matthew Among Several Florida Panthers Affected by Playoff Injuries
Although a lot of Florida Panthers suffered significant setbacks in order for their team to achieve their incredible postseason run, Matthew Tkachuk was the main focus following his injury in Tuesday night’s Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Coach Paul Maurice stated that many players were playing with broken bones and that some would not recover in time for training camp or the start of the 2023–24 season after Tuesday night’s 9–3 loss in Game 5, the Panthers’ final loss of the season.
Maurice remarked, “We are not going to have an easy time getting back to the playoffs next year.”

On Monday night, the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers will, in one way or another, create Stanley Cup Final history.
For the first time in their 30-year existence, the Panthers will attempt to win the Stanley Cup once more.
The Oilers will try to win their fourth straight elimination game and make history by being the second club to win a championship when trailing 3-0 in a series.
