BREAKING: 2025 Georgia Tech top target commits to Miami
Herbert Scroggins, a 2025 Georgia Tech target, has been predicted to join the Miami Hurricanes by Miami insider Gaby Urrutia of 247Sports, just a few days after postponing his commitment date. Scroggins was on an official visit to Miami this past weekend and was supposed to pledge on Tuesday, but he stated on social media on Sunday morning that he was postponing the announcement. He did not specify a new date for his commitment.
Prior to his visit with Miami, Scroggins had three 247 Crystal Balls predicting that he would attend Auburn. Crystal ball forecasts are seldom guaranteed, but with him deferring his commitment after seeing the Hurricanes and now receiving a prediction to land in Miami, it appears that they may be the
Scroggins just stated his top four schools: Georgia Tech, Miami, Auburn, and North Carolina. Scroggins is a three-star player who attends Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia. He visited Georgia Tech earlier this month.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Scroggins is a three-star prospect who is listed as the No. 406 player in the country, the No. 29 edge player in the country, and the No. 46 player in Georgia. He has further offers from Liberty, Memphis, Minnesota, Syracuse, Texas A&M, UCF, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia, among others.
At 6’3, 233 LBS, Scroggins is a very fascinating prospect who demonstrates agility, and he would combine well with one of Georgia Tech’s other edge rushers committed in the class, Andre Fuller.
