Staff changes are announced by Clemson football
CLEMSON, South Carolina — Lemanski Hall and Thomas Austin will not rejoin Clemson’s coaching staff in 2024, head coach Dabo Swinney stated today. Below are the complete remarks regarding the staff changes that took effect this week.
“After meeting and having a wonderful talk regarding Lemanski Hall’s long-term aspirations, both personally and professionally, we decided that he should look for possibilities to further his career abroad.
“For Ski, his wife Leslie, and their family, I am incredibly grateful. Since 1989, Lemanski and I have been practically lifetime friends, and I cherish him as a brother. I am grateful for the influence he has had at Clemson University.
“Since joining our programme in 2015 as an analyst, he has participated in four national championship game appearances, six College Football Playoff teams, seven ACC championship teams, and two national titles. Great players like Clelin Ferrell, Austin Bryant, Myles Murphy, and many more have been coached and recruited by him since he started as an on-field coach in 2018. I am happy of the job he did this year to develop T.J. Parker, who might be a future Freshman All-American.
“I am appreciative of his influence here as well as his friendship, and I hope the best for him in his upcoming venture.”
LEMANSKI HALL STATEMENT: “I am extremely appreciative and thankful for the chance that Clemson has provided me with over the last nine years.
“Clemson has been so good to me and my family, and my wife and I want to thank the entire Clemson Family for being such a blessing in our lives. I also want to especially thank Coach Swinney and his wife, Kathleen, for welcoming us the way they have for almost a decade. I similarly want to thank Graham Neff, President Clements and the Board of Trustees for their faith in me representing this university for so many years.
“I am incredibly proud of what we have been able to accomplish here. I am so thankful for all of the young men that have been in our program, and I hope I’ve been able to impact them as positively as they have impacted me. I am excited to see what God has in store for me and my family moving forward.
