BREAKING: Florida Panthers Football Star Player Enters Transfer portal After Seasons

This spring, the college football transfer portal’s top 10 players are included.

The 2023-24 transfer portal cycle is on pace to be another record-setting one, with 2,700 scholarship college football players already in the portal at the FBS level. So far, more than 1,500 have announced commitments as the 14-day spring transfer window comes to a close.

In an effort to help you keep track of who’s going where and which top transfers are still on the market, The Athletic ranks the best available players in the portal.

Transfers are ranked based on their experience, production, potential, interest they’re generating and feedback from coaches throughout the country. This is a fluid list that we’ll constantly update as players make decisions, so be sure to keep this one bookmarked.

1. Tyler Baron, a DE from Louisville: After three successful years as an edge rusher for the Vols, the 6-foot-5, 260-pound senior from Knoxville, Tennessee, is coming off of his greatest season to date, totaling 28 tackles, 41 pressures, 10.5 TFLs, and six sacks. Baron committed to Ole Miss at first before switching to Louisville, making him one of the most sought-after edge defenders in the country back in December. With his final season of eligibility behind him, Baron is back on the market following his spring ball experience with the Cardinals. Ole Miss, USC, and Miami are among the contenders.

2. Arizona State wide receiver Elijah Badger Despite having five different quarterbacks on the field for two seasons, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound playmaker has been the Sun Devils’ top receiver in back-to-back seasons, hauling in 135 receptions for 1,579 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. Although Badger still has two seasons left on his eligibility and was expected to be among the Big 12’s top returning wide receivers this fall, if he has another excellent season, he will probably be selected in the draft the following year. His initial formal visits were to Arizona and Washington.
