HUGE BLOW: Cleveland Browns star suffers bad injury against the Packers.

Luke Wypler, the Cleveland Browns’ center and former Ohio State star, suffered a serious injury in a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Cleveland Browns are now playing the Green Bay Packers in their preseason opener. Unfortunately, they have already received a horrible harm.

Luke Wypler, the Browns’ second-year center and a former Ohio State Buckeyes standout, went down after his leg was rolled up.

Wyper was seen leaving the field while wearing an air cast on his right leg. That does not bode well.

During a scrambling throw, quarterback Tyler Huntley was hit by a defender and fell on Wypler’s leg. It didn’t look good when Wypler’s leg crumpled under Huntley.

Hopefully, the injury isn’t as terrible as it seems. If it is, Wyper may face a lengthy repatriation process.

Cleveland trails the Packers 7-3 after the first quarter and part of the second. They’ve shown some decent moments, but they were also burned by Jordan Love on a big 65-yard touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks to start the game.

Having said that, the Browns are resting many of their important players.

Here’s the list of inactives Cleveland published prior to the game’s start.

Seeing a player go down like that is disappointing, especially in a preseason game. However, Wypler is a local fan favorite due to his time at Ohio State. All supporters can do is hope he receives positive injury news and that it is not a season-ending injury.

We’ll provide you with further updates on Wypler’s injury as they become available.
