Cleveland Browns coach Provides concerning update on two key players
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski provided a hazy update on two crucial players.
The Cleveland Browns enter the 2024 regular season with a few major question marks because of injuries.
The offensive line is one of the most concerning areas. Both Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills have been sidelined with injuries, but they are expected to return by Week 1.
On Sunday, head coach Kevin Stefanski was queried about the team’s status for Week 1. He provided an imprecise response, which raises some concerns.
“I’d say that with all of our people, we’re a day-to-day operation. They are doing well in their rehabilitation, and when they are ready, they will be out there. And that actually applies to a lot of guys who are still rehabbing on the side.”
Conklin and Wills will be critical elements of the Browns’ attack.
Deshaun Watson hopes to restart his career this season. In order to do so, he must be able to stand straight and healthy. Conklin and Wills will both play important roles in assisting him with this task.
Hopefully, excellent news will be released about both athletes in the soon future.
While Stefanski’s reaction raises some concerns, he doesn’t have much further to say. He cannot guarantee that players will be ready for Week One.
Over the following three weeks, you may expect additional injury reports. Cleveland has a few problems to monitor, and the injuries to these two offensive lineman will be critical.
