REPORT: Cleveland Browns hit with brutal prediction for the 2024 NFL season

Not everyone thinks the Cleveland Browns will have a successful year in 2024.

The Cleveland Browns are coming off a 2023 season in which they won 11 games and advanced to the playoffs despite suffering significant adversity.

The Browns lost standout running back Nick Chubb for the season in Week 2, and they went through five different starting quarterbacks.

Despite all of this, Cleveland managed to win double-digit games and finish second in the tough AFC North.

Taking those factors into account, you would assume there would be a lot of excitement surrounding the Browns coming into 2024, with Deshaun Watson back in the fold and Chubb slated to return at some point this season.

However, Cleveland does not appeal to everyone.

Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton has forecasted each team’s record for the upcoming NFL season, with the Browns going 8-9 and placing last in the AFC North.

Moton notably cites the uncertainty around Chubb’s comeback date and Watson’s anticipated troubles as reasons Cleveland will finish in the cellar.

He predicts the Cincinnati Bengals will win the AFC North at 11-6. Moton also forecasts the Baltimore Ravens to win ten games and the Pittsburgh Steelers to finish 9-8.

The Browns have one of the league’s most packed rosters from top to bottom, but there are serious concerns about the team heading into September.

However, given how well Cleveland performed last season despite all of its challenges, there is every reason to expect that the Browns will be above.500 and make the playoffs again in 2024.
