BREAKING: Cleveland Browns rookie surprisingly plays despite being arrested this week.
Following his arrest earlier this week, Cleveland Browns rookie Mike Hall Jr. played today in the team’s preseason game against the Vikings.
The Cleveland Browns have had a difficult week with rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr.
On Tuesday morning, it was revealed that he had been arrested following a domestic incident on Monday night. There were numerous frightening claims leveled against the rookie.
He returned to the team in the midst of the week, but departed practice early due to an injury.
He now faces the Minnesota Vikings in a preseason battle this afternoon, following joint sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. What a rollercoaster week it has been.
Hall, who had started turning heads and looking like an impact player for the upcoming season as a rookie, is facing a lot of trouble. We aren’t going to speculate at all about his off-the-field circumstances, but it’s evident that there will be more coming in the future.
Recently, a teammate compared Hall to former NFL standout defensive lineman Aaron Donald. Even receiving such a comparison is an honor and demonstrates Hall’s immense talent and promise.
After his arrest and subsequent injury, seeing him on the field Saturday afternoon was a huge surprise. It will be intriguing to see what type of effect he can make after missing a week and suffering an injury on the field.
All Browns supporters can do now is wait and see what the future holds for Hall. He has the potential to be a terrific player in Cleveland, but he must deal with far bigger issues in the interim.
