HUGE BLOW: Cleveland Browns suffers triple injury blow against Minnesota Vikings.

The Cleveland Browns have suffered three serious offensive line injuries against the Minnesota Vikings.

Today, the Cleveland Browns met the Minnesota Vikings in their second preseason game. While they did not play many of their key players, there were plenty of young players and players vying for roster places to see.

Unfortunately, the injury bug struck the Browns again throughout the game.

Of course, offensive lineman Luke Wypler suffered an injury during the preseason opener. Today, three more offensive linemen were sidelined due to injuries.

Hakeem Adeniji, James Hudson, and Germain Ifedi were all hurt this afternoon.

To far, there have been no specific updates on the long-term status of any of those players. Hopefully none of these prove to be serious.

Cleveland cannot afford to continue experiencing offensive line injuries like they have in the first two preseason games. Their offensive line depth may be depleted by the time Week 1 arrives.

It raises the possibility of the Browns entering the free agency market. Given the current state of affairs, a name like David Bakhtiari may make sense as quality depth.

Only time will tell what Cleveland decides to do. They can only hope that none of these players miss a significant length of time. Deshaun Watson will need a sturdy and deep offensive line this season if he is to have the bounce-back season the Browns require.

We’ll provide injury updates from the game versus the Vikings as soon as they become available.
