NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A bold new era may be brewing in Tennessee.
The Titans made headlines Friday night by selecting UCLA edge rusher Oluwafemi Oladejo with the 52nd overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. But it was a fiery promise from Auburn’s star wide receiver, who vowed to “take over” the league and remain loyal to the Titans organization, that added extra electricity to the team’s draft night.
Oladejo, a 6-foot-3, 259-pound defensive force, was a standout for the Bruins in 2024, leading the team with 13.5 tackles for loss and adding 4.5 sacks to his name. In total, he posted 54 tackles and 2.5 sacks across 13 games in 2023 after transferring from Cal, where he spent his first two collegiate seasons. Over four years, he totaled 23 tackles for loss, six sacks, 11 quarterback hits, and three fumble recoveries.
He was also invited to the prestigious Senior Bowl, showcasing his elite potential to scouts nationwide.
The Titans originally held the 35th pick in the second round but traded down with the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for picks No. 52 and No. 82, the latter falling in the third round.
The night took an exciting turn when the highly touted Auburn wideout, whose name is still being closely watched, publicly declared his commitment to the franchise and vowed to “take over” in Tennessee.
