Jeremiah Louis, West Indies’ fast bowler, has been ruled out of the third Test against England due to a hamstring injury received at Trent Bridge.
The 28-year-old, who did not play in the first two Tests, will stay in the UK to receive treatment and has been replaced in the squad by Akeem Jordan.
Jordan was already in the UK when he was called up and will train with the squad at Edgbaston on Wednesday, Cricket West Indies said in a statement.
Uncapped Louis has only appeared as a substitute fielder as England has grabbed a commanding 2-0 lead.
Jordan, who has never played in a Test, will join Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Jayden Seales, and Jason Holder as seam possibilities.
