How to get last-minute tickets for the NHRA Sonoma Nationals drag racing at Sonoma Raceway
The 2024 Paris Olympics are taking place more than 5,000 miles away and over an ocean. However, back at home, the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals feature racing’s top drivers.
Tickets for all three days of spectacular racing at Sonoma Raceway are available on the race website. The full program for the weekend can be seen here, but a concise summary of everything going on is provided below.
Friday, July 26 kicks off the festivities with high-speed races in all classes, including Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Top Fuel, and Funny Car.
The racing resumes on Saturday, July 27, with a full slate of nitro runs, autograph sessions, and the finals of numerous qualifying sessions.
Elimination Sunday brings the weekend to a close, but not before the best drivers in each class compete to see who will win their respective classes. Justin Ashley, driving the No. 4 vehicle, won the Top Fuel category in 2023, defeating Antron Brown in the final.
