HUGE BLOW: New England Patriots star suffers bad injury against Carolina Panthers.

If the Carolina Panthers’ 17-3 preseason loss to the New England Patriots wasn’t terrible enough, things got even worse after Saturday’s practice.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales disclosed that 2024 sixth-round draft pick Jaden Crumedy’s comeback timeframe is undetermined after breaking his ankle on Thursday night.

“Crumedy, that was a high-ankle sprain,” Canales remarked. “I’m not sure of the specific timetable there. I can get you further information on that.”

Crumedy was carried off the field after suffering an injury in the second quarter. According to Darin Gantt of the Panthers’ official website, Crumedy was carried to the locker room in a cart after leaving the field.

The rookie sixth-round pick did not make a tackle before leaving the game.

Following Crumedy’s injury, the Panthers signed Jayden Peevy to bolster the defensive line in his absence.
