Auburn has landed a major addition to its defensive front. Former Florida A&M defensive tackle James Ash announced his commitment to transfer to the Tigers on Monday, following a weekend visit to The Plains.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman brings size, experience, and production to Auburn’s defense. During his three seasons with the Rattlers, Ash totaled 86 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and even recorded an interception—showcasing both power and versatility in the trenches.
Ash is expected to make an immediate impact as Auburn continues to build a tough, physical identity under its new-look roster.
