Reports linking Celtic striker Camilo Duran with a sensational move to Manchester United have been dismissed as untrue.
Claims originating from Azerbaijan had suggested the Premier League giants were keeping tabs on Duran following his impressive start to life at Parkhead.
The speculation came as something of a surprise given the Colombian only joined Celtic from Qarabag for around £6million in July and is just eight games into his Hoops career.

However, Scottish-Azerbaijani journalist Fuad Alakbarov has since stated that the reports linking Duran with a move to Old Trafford have been proven false.
Notably, the claims were not picked up by outlets in Colombia, Scotland or England despite suggesting one of the world’s biggest clubs had already shown an interest in the Celtic striker.
Duran has made an instant impact under Martin O’Neill, recording nine goal involvements across his opening eight appearances and quickly establishing himself as a crucial part of the Celtic attack.
His explosive beginning will inevitably draw attention if it continues, but Hoops supporters can breathe a sigh of relief over the latest speculation, with the Manchester United links seemingly having no substance.
