Mikey Moore joined Bundesliga outfit FC Koln on loan from Tottenham at the end of the summer transfer window following a successful spell at Ibrox.
Former Celtic loanee Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has disclosed that he played a role in Mikey Moore’s move to FC Koln.

The defender is also pleased to now have some ‘English culture’ inside the Bundesliga club’s dressing room after being joined by the former Rangers loan star.
The 20-year-old joined Celtic on a season-long loan from Manchester City under then Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers in the summer of 2025, but made only one appearance for the Parkhead side before the deal was terminated last January.
Simpson-Pusey subsequently moved to Germany on loan for the second half of the campaign and completed a permanent switch to Koln during the summer.
He has since been joined at the RheinEnergieStadion by fellow Englishmen Moore and Reigan Heskey – son of former England and Premier League striker Emile – and revealed that he spoke to both players before they completed their respective transfers from Tottenham and Man City.
Asked about the arrival of the two youngsters, he replied: “That’s good. We now have a bit of English culture in the team.

“I spoke to them beforehand. But I didn’t force them to come here. Many see that (the Bundesliga) can be a sensible step. I didn’t know where I would be playing either. But I came here to prove myself.”
The centre-back says staying at Koln beyond his loan spell was a ‘no brainer’ following a difficult six months at Celtic. “That was a difficult period in my young career”, he admitted.
“(But) I’m really happy and very satisfied with how things have developed. The decision was a no-brainer.”
Simpson-Pusey is now being linked with a potential first Three Lions call-up at U21 level, having last featured for England at U18 level three years ago.
“I’m not sure”, he continued. “The squads will be announced in the next few days. I have no idea.”
