Leeds United fans have watched the club display ambition this summer both on and off the pitch. Spending heavily on James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic has paid off so far.
After five league matches, the Whites remain unbeaten and appear capable of surprising plenty of people.
Leeds were not expected to come through their opening run of fixtures without a loss, especially after facing the likes of Forest, Brighton and Brentford.
Daniel Farke’s side currently sit fifth in the league during the international break. From the opening game of the campaign, some observers have suggested that the team could finish considerably higher than the 14th-place position they secured last season.

talkSPORT presenter makes bold Leeds United prediction
Farke’s team have attracted plenty of positive predictions from pundits and former players. Now, Rory Jennings has backed Leeds United to finish seventh in the Premier League this season.
”My seventh is Leeds United. I nearly put them higher.” he said on his YouTube channel.
I think Leeds are incredible, I think the running of the club, I think that link with the San Francisco 49ers is massively working.”
”The institution is ready and Daniel Farke has become a Premier League manager. Sometimes you need the opportunity to become it.”
”Some players come up from the Championship as a centre forward, and now be a Premier League striker; some take it, some don’t – Daniel Farke is now a Premier League manager.”
”I think he has now proven that he is the man for the job.”
”I think signing James Trafford is a masterstroke.
Whites could have a major advantage this season
In the video, Rory Jennings also highlights the potential benefit of having no European football while many of the teams above them are competing on the continent.
”A lot of this is coming down to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, [Leeds] having no European football so other teams who could take their place in football have European football and therefore could slip.”
This season, nine teams are involved in UEFA competitions, with all of them having finished between first and ninth last year.
As a result, several of those clubs could still be involved in their respective competitions deep into the campaign. That could force them to rotate their squads when certain league fixtures arrive, potentially giving other teams an opportunity.
Leeds are well placed to take advantage of the situation. They have the quality, the depth and the manager to make the most of it.
