AWKWARD! Russell Martin LEFT STUNNED as Leicester Players Seemingly SNUB Former Rangers Boss in Brutal Moment

Russell Martin appeared to be ignored by his own players during a cup triumph.

The Leicester City manager watched his team secure a 6-1 victory over Fulham Under-21s at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening.

However, there was an uncomfortable moment in the first half after Admir Bristric scored the opener, which was the first goal of his hat-trick.

The forward, following his goal, headed towards former Rangers boss Martin to celebrate and appeared to encourage his teammates to join him.

Yet, only Caleb Okori and Warren O’Hora came over to take part in the embrace.

Reflecting on the match and result, Martin said: “On the whole, a really positive night.

“The intention to make it that was good.

“All in all, it’s really pleasing because these games can be difficult sometimes.

“You have to turn them into the game you want it to be and we did.

“We have to try and live there all the time.

“We had it at MK Dons and Barnsley when we were so dominant and should win the games but that’s the next bit for us and we have to create that.

“We’re this close from being a really good team.

“We can feel that inside the building, we all can.

“Everyone feels that it’s coming and we worked a lot after Saturday on creating a bit more and having a bit more conviction in the box.

“We aren’t always going to be successful, we’re going to fail sometimes.

“But if we do, it’ll be in our way.
