DANIEL FARKE HAS FOUND HIS NEW LEEDS UNITED HERO — UNSTOPPABLE STAR EMERGES AS BOMBSHELL START CHANGES EVERYTHING

Leeds United have found a new consistent presence this season

Five matches into the new Premier League campaign and there is plenty to be positive about in the Leeds United camp.

Daniel Farke’s revamped side have picked up where they ended last season, continuing to make Elland Road one of the most difficult venues to visit. The defence has appeared dependable despite several new arrivals, while they have scored regularly enough to collect nine points and remain unbeaten in fifth place.

A major factor has been the arrival of several important additions during the summer, with the new recruits wasting little time adapting to life at Leeds. There is also a familiar feel to Leeds’ attacking play, with Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmunsson pushing forward from their respective flanks, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor have made their presence felt in attack.

Similarly, Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka have controlled the midfield impressively, although with two members of the back three being new signings and another new goalkeeper behind them, it was understandable to expect Leeds might need some time to develop defensive understanding.

That expectation has not matched reality, with the Whites having the joint-best defensive record in the Premier League so far this season. A major contributor to that has been the form and influence of Tarik Muharemovic. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has made an excellent impression since joining and is currently one of only four players to have featured for every minute of Leeds’ league campaign.

Farke has used 20 players in the Premier League so far, with it already becoming clear which members of his squad the manager trusts most. We’ve put together a list of every player and the number of minutes they have featured so far this season.
