A decision has been made on Leeds United summer signing Jean Matteo-Bahoya following the French attacker’s international call-up.
Bahoya joined Leeds from Eintracht Frankfurt in a late transfer on deadline day, but the 21-year-old forward had to wait before making his Whites debut, eventually coming on as a late substitute in Sunday’s Premier League home fixture against Crystal Palace.

Bahoya, however, had already been selected for the France Under-21s squad, and manager Gerald Baticle has opted to start the Leeds attacker in Friday afternoon’s European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Iceland.
The match kicks off at 4pm UK time, with Bahoya lining up alongside Tottenham’s Mathys Tel and Al-Hilal’s Saimon Bouabre in the attacking trio.
