LEICESTER CITY ON THE BRINK OF CHAOS!” Finance Guru Issues SHOCKING Verdict After Explosive Bust-Up — “THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION

Leicester City’s owners will be reassessing Russell Martin’s future at the King Power Stadium following his latest confrontation with supporters.

That is according to former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider that the Foxes are on the brink of a “very dangerous situation”.

After suffering relegation from the Championship, Leicester were expected to dominate League One, but their campaign has been far from straightforward in the East Midlands.

Martin’s side are currently 17th in the League One standings, just one point above the relegation zone, with the manager repeatedly clashing with supporters.

On several occasions, the 40-year-old has been filmed responding angrily to frustrated fans, and the footage has sparked divided opinions.

Mick Brown told Football Insider that he expects Leicester to dismiss Martin sooner rather than later, although the situation may not be as straightforward as it appears.

Leicester City ‘cannot cope with League Two’

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson believes the embattled manager has until the January transfer window to improve results.

“It’s a very dangerous situation. So it’s not going to be a matter of whether they can afford to sack Russell Martin,” he said.

“They have to start winning on the pitch. I know it’s easier said than done, but it’s not a club that can cope with League Two. One way or another, they’re to have to find a way.

“January is a good line in the sand and they may need to bring in some players, and it may be that they need a new manager.

“But as I say, they just can’t risk going down. It’s really that simple. It’s very dangerous. This is not a normal situation.

Where is Russell Martin’s side predicted to finish?

At present, the outlook appears increasingly concerning for the Foxes, who sit just one point above the relegation zone and six points away from the play-off places.

Much of the footballing world anticipated Leicester would secure an immediate return to the Championship, but that optimism has faded following their disappointing start.

Opta currently forecasts a 12th-place finish for Martin’s team, with their chances of claiming the League One title standing at just 1.72 per cent after a difficult opening spell.

Even more concerning, their probability of securing promotion has fallen to just four per cent. A significant improvement is needed at the King Power Stadium.
