MOYES FUMING! Everton Boss ‘LIVID’ as Bombshell Source Revelation Exposes Club’s Plans – Behind-the-Scenes TENSION ERUPTS!

David Moyes will express his “massive frustration” over Everton’s failure to spend if The Friedkin Group refuse to invest in the squad during the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Moyes faced significant restrictions in his attempts to strengthen the squad and improve depth across several positions during the summer transfer window.

Just five Premier League clubs spent less than the reported £88million budget that The Friedkin Group (TFG) allocated for Everton’s new arrivals.

The Toffees currently have the smallest first-team squad in the Premier League by a considerable margin, with only 19 outfield players. Despite this, Moyes has managed to lead the club to 11th place in the table and the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

As revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, the Everton manager is expected to become increasingly frustrated if TFG refuse to strengthen his squad in January.

According to Football Insider sources, the club’s owners, who are willing to sell Everton, are only considering loan signings and free transfers to improve the squad in the new year.

David Moyes is ‘furious’ with The Friedkin Group’s Everton plans

Moyes’ position at Everton remains uncertain, with the club’s prospective new owners potentially looking to replace him with their preferred managerial appointment.

TFG are still in charge for the time being, but the Scottish manager feels he deserves greater financial backing in the next transfer window to help Everton push for potential European qualification.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “He was frustrated in the summer because he didn’t get backing and they lost a number of key players without bringing replacements in, so he was hoping the January window would be the market for him to go out and strengthen the squad.

“If that’s not the case and The Friedkin Group aren’t willing to put money in, it’s going to be a source of massive frustration to Moyes. Everything at Everton is a bit up in the air…it’s a delicate situation.”

Everton fans could protest against TFG at Man United vs Roma

TFG have invested considerably more money, time and attention into Roma than Everton, with chairman and owner Dan Friedkin yet to visit Liverpool since completing the club’s takeover in 2024.

Sources have exclusively informed Football Insider that some Everton supporters’ groups are preparing to demonstrate against their owners when Roma face Manchester United in their Champions League encounter next week.

The Red Devils are scheduled to welcome Roma to Old Trafford on Tuesday, 3 November, with some Toffees fans potentially planning to attend the fixture to express their dissatisfaction with TFG. Representatives from the supporters’ groups could also be present at the match.
