However, O’Hara was astonished when he was informed of Leeds’ record under the lights across their last 22 home matches and initially refused to believe the statistics.
He eventually admitted that perhaps facing Leeds at Elland Road under the lights was more difficult than he had originally been willing to acknowledge.

“That can’t be true.

Leeds are a difficult side to overcome at home, with several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs struggling to secure victories at Elland Road since the Whites returned to the top flight last year.
But under the lights, they appear even more imposing when the home supporters raise the volume and the atmosphere becomes almost suffocating for visiting players.
Several Newcastle players appeared stunned on Monday night, and they were seemingly overwhelmed before the half-time whistle had even been blown.
Leeds have suffered just one league defeat in 48 at Elland Road under Daniel Farke when their matches begin at 7:30 pm or later.
